Our Story

Ayumantra is a 27-year-old company dedicated to producing authentic Ayurvedic products. Originally founded in 1998 in New York under the name Himalayan Herbs Inc., the company later relocated its head office to Mississauga, Canada, in 2005.

In 2008, after observing growing quality concerns in many Ayurvedic products imported from India, Ayumantra made the conscious decision to halt product sales and focus on solving these issues. This marked the beginning of a new chapter, one centered on purity, potency, and integrity.

Through years of research and innovation, and after a 7-year pause, Ayumantra was relaunched in the USA in 2015 with a renewed commitment to quality. The company developed a strict, end-to-end quality control system that begins with sourcing native-grown herbs during their peak harvest season, followed by a unique extraction process and quality manufacturing in India.

Today, Ayumantra stands as a trusted name in Ayurveda, committed to offering practitioners and consumers the highest standards of purity and effectiveness. Currently, Ayumantra products are available in the United States, and they will be available in Canada soon once the regulatory compliance is completed in the near future.
