Description

Its Rasa / taste is Bitter- Pungent, Vipaka / post-digestive effect is Pungent, hot potency, thus anti Vata Kapha. It is Shothahara / anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, aphrodisiac, bitter, carminative, demulcent, diaphragmatic, disinfectant, diuretic, enhances phagocytosis, immune-stimulant, thyroid stimulant and uterine stimulant.
