Sabudaana Khichdi

  • 1/3 cup – Sabudana (Sago)
  • 2 cup – water

  • Chopped coriander leaves (Hara dhania)
  • ½ bowel – Green peas

Method to prepare Sabudana Khichdi

  1. Carefully wash 1/3 cup of sabudana (sago) with water two to three times.

  1. Soak sabudana (sago) for two to three hours or more.

  1. Add the cilantro (Hara dhania), cumin (Jeera), and turmeric after heating the olive oil in the pan. After combining everything, cook for a couple of minutes.

  2. Add peanuts and saute for 4-5 minutes.

  1. Stir in the soaked sabudana (sago) and cook for an additional two to three minutes.

  1. Add water, simmer for 30 minutes or until it turns transparent.

  1. Sabudana (sago) khichadi with namkeen is prepared and ready to be served hot.
